Dolce&Gabbana

It seemed that Sicily will be forever a source of inspiration for designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, but when creating the spring-summer 2016 collection, they decided to take a closer look not to other regions of Italy, but to another country – Spain.

This was reflected in the beauty looks created by the make up artist Pat McGrath and the stylist Guido Palau for the models participating in the fashion show of the brand. Pat decided to focus in the makeup on wine color lips. But she also has not left without attention the eyes – with the help of classic black wings, she managed to make the look more attractive and piercer. Meanwhile, Guido decided that the nothing can complete better the Spaniard look than red flowers – roses and carnations – in the hair of the girls. The stylist adorned low beams  with lush scarlet buds and a neat parting. With these details the Spanish passion was combined with the girlish tenderness.

Marni

Such trend as the wet hair effect found support in the spring-summer 2016 season even in the Marni brand. The stylist Paul Hanlon obtained such a “humidity” as if the hair of the models were slightly dirty, not as clean and shiny as immediately after washing. But this, according to the stylist, was correlated with the sporty style to which he chose this haircut. Paul combed the hair of the girls back and on the sides she applied wax, which he melted with the hair dryer – a stream of warm air. This technique allowed him to visually make the hair wet, as after a hard training.

Makeup artists have decided also to transfer the wet effect in the makeup for the show, so they had to give up the trendy face foundations to create a matte finish. To add radiance to the wet skin, you can mix a slightky thick face foundations with moisturizer. The effect can be enhanced by applying a transparent balm on the lips. The result will look more natural if the eyes are not colored at all.

Giorgio Armani

A feminine beauty look with a mystery touch “tried on” the models from Giorgio Armani Spring-Summer 2016 show. The emphasis in the makeup was made on the magical pearly glow that attracts the most attention to the eyes. On the eyelid of the girls were applied eyeshadows of dark gray shade with pearly tints, as well as silver-colored eyeliner. The lips were also gleaming pearl. Makeup artists applied on them a nude lipstick with a barely noticeable shimmer. It was also decided to accentuate the arch of the eyebrows with brown eyeshadows – this added the look a little temperament.

A dual impression also creates the hairstyle. Due to the fact that the hair is gathered and there is no free strand, the beauty look got a soft masculinity touch. But three braids were braided in the direction from front to back, still conferring a charming girlish look.
