Renewing your wardrobe for the new season is a thing that must be planned long time before. Especially because summer is approaching really fast. In order to avoid unpleasant situations when you already bought tickets for a holiday abroad, tomorrow is the flight and instead of making your baggage, you are still running in stores searching for summer clothes. That is why now it is time to take care of that. Basically, the main thing you need in a vacation is a swimsuit. We have studied the style of swimsuits designers recommended to wear this hot summer season.

Since all designers are fully “obsessed” by the sports theme, then one would expect that on the catwalks, swimwear styles will also be sporty. First – one piece swimsuits, and secondly – supplemented by zippers. Such styles were seen in the Spring-Summer collections of Jeremy Scott, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Fashion East and Emilio Pucci.

Donna Karan, for example, presented swimsuits with the logo of the brand, Fashion East has an yacht painted on the swimsuit (and combined with Nike sport style sandals), Jeremy Scott had colorful stripes of universal electronic TV test pattern.

Tommy Hilfiger and Emilio Pucci’s zipped swimsuits looked like special California surfer costume.

By the way, zippers became one of the main trends of beach fashion. They adorned not only sport but also futuristic models from Herve Leger by Max Azria collection. On shows were presented both one piece and two piece swimsuits.

Another catwalk trend was the cut-outs. For example, Hilfiger’s swimsuits had round holes on the waist area, in Adidas by StellaMcCartney, triangle cut-outs adorned mint-pastel shade swimsuits, and similar models were also noted in Paul & Joe collections. The main difference was that the designer adorned this swimsuit with floral graphical print.

The Anthony Vaccarello swimsuit was complemented with 3 parallel stripes situate don the waist area.

And of course designers didn’t forget about retro-swimsuits, with high waist pants. Such models in bright prints were seen at Dsquared2, more decent in casual style – at Michael Kors and he also presented a romantic swimsuit with 3D flowers while Zimmerman presented a black swimsuit with an original bra and a bow on the pants.
