New York hosted Christian Dior Resort Collection show

The well known worlwide French clothes brand presented the audience the Spring-Summer 2016 Resort Collection. Despite the fact that it is an off-season show, authors decided to present their creations to a wide audience in New York City by organizing a loud show. In the forefront were sitting stars of the American show business.

The author of the collection knowingly chose a huge metropolis for the show. Dior’s Resort Collection combines the spirit of this place and classical motifs specific to this fashion brand.

The main features of the collection:

Asymmetric cuts;
Carré scarves;
Diversity of prints.

Dresses, skirts, coats, blouses – all are saying that the designer is ready to experiment and decided to go back upon clear lines by replacing them with the asymmetric cut.

The mini-length promises to be the most wanted this season. To be honest, by lengthening the item, the author decided to adorn the dress with a deep neckline. Another interesting style is the mini-length and a square cut top on thin shoulder straps.

Transparent fabrics, mesh, lace and silk are fabrics out of which were created the majority of dresses. Not forgotten were also more dense fabrics, such as tweed and polyester, which became the basis for pants, jackets and coats.

Floral insertions are another designer “trick”. Bold prints are designed to dissolve the office drudgery and to give the outfit a summer mood.

Shoes are an important detail of any image. Dior opted for ankle boots with open toes that a few seasons ago have already won the hearts of fashionistas. As fasteners, it was used lace and ribbon, which, by the way, is in harmony with handkerchiefs – the main element of the collection.
