Zac Posen

For Zac Posen it’s enough to have in his palette only three colors to make a complete collection, but only with the condition that these colors are powerful – black, white and red. No drawings or superfluous details, colors do not mix with each other and each dress or suit is transformed into an independent architectural object.

Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg remembered Brigitte Bardot and her pictures on Côte d’Azur and tried to replicate the style of the French actress on the cusp of the 50’s and 60’s. In this Diana was helped by feminine dresses in a gingham plaid that we previously observed in Altuzarra, bustier tops with short jackets combined with lush high-waisted skirts, suits in white and blue stripes a la mariniere and voluminous hairstyles with big curls, which made Bardot in the history of fashion not less ​​famous than her most successful pictures. True to her principles, Furstenberg did not forget about folded dresses – in the spring-summer 2015 season these got an unusual short length and tropical prints.

3.1 Phillip Lim

Accessories and textures are the business cards of all 3.1 Phillip Lim collections. But this time Lim managed to get an attractive cut of clothes, taking the most bizarre forms. Embroidered in the Baroque-style, tops, jackets and dresses are designed with curvy and asymmetrical forms. The designer confesses that the idea for this collection came to him during the repairs in his own house. Probably this can explain the prints, stamps, reminding us of wallpapers for the living room, and leather wire-cords, playing the role of edge piping on clothes and straps on the sandals.

Tommy Hilfiger

The present Tommy Hilfiger collection literally blew Instagram: the guests sitting in the first row at New York Fashion Week shared photos with cherry costumes, hippie–coats with celebrities and with the gorgeous Kendall Jenner who appeared on the podium wearing something between a swimsuit and Miley Cyrus stage costume. The main theme of the collection was the golden era of rock ‘n‘ roll, that is why the outfits of models are reminding us the heroine of Penny Lane‘s movie “Almost Famous”: if speaking about the length then it is mini, if about sweater then it is worn instead of dresses, if pants – then it is the flare that lengthens the feet, in the style of 70‘s. When interpreting rock ‘n‘ roll, Hilfiger failed to “reinvent the wheel”, but after this show, editors were talking about the new beauty trend – these were drawings-tattoos in the form of stars on the face and body.

Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta knows firsthand how should look clothes, that make a girl beautiful. Emphasized feminine silhouettes, luxurious finishes on expensive fabrics and shades of spring blooming garden are present in every designer’s collection. Additionally to natural ornaments and lace in Oscar de la Renta collection for spring-summer 2015 are added gingham plaid in pink, blue and black colors – one of the main prints of the new season. Every outfit, starting with the first cocktail dresses with flared skirts and ending with final evening dresses with bustier top and asymmetrical skirts, are worthy the red carpet of one of the loudest Hollywood ceremony.

Versus by Antony Vaccarello

Last year, representatives of Versace announced that their youngest brand, Versus, begin a new chapter. Donatella Versace will attract different creative people to work on each collection: designers, stylists, and musicians. In the new season, was chosen Anthony Vaccarello. Donatella and Anthony were loyal to the DNA code of the Italian brand, that is why there is no surprise to see Greek ornaments on trousers, jackets and gold pins on the dresses. Vaccarello innovation is the monochrome gamma. But according to Donatella, the sexuality will never go out of fashion and, therefore, leather skirts, dresses with plunging necklines and black silk blouses on a naked body will always come in handy.
