Best fashionable looks from Emmy 2015
On August 25, in Los Angeles, was hosted the 66th ceremony of the “Emmy” awards. See in our review the most incredible looks from the red carpet.
“Emmy” is the “Oscar” for the TV series and TV movies. And while actors and actresses look forward to hear the name of the winner in the category, we are waiting for impressive star appearances. This year did not disappointed us: we saw on the red carpet bright colors, fashion trends, complex fabrics, concise forms, couture and our favorite classics.
Actresses from the TV series “Girls”, Allison Williams and Lena Dunham appeared on the ceremony in incredible dresses with interesting trims and in pastel shades from the new collection of Giambattista Valli Couture. Michelle Monaghan from “True detective” also opted for the same French Fashion House and chose a simple but very refined white dress from the latest collection. Speaking of white dresses, we can not mention Kristen Wiig and her wonderful dress by Vera Wang, in which you can go from the ceremony directly to the altar! Matthew McConaughey wife, the model Camila Alves, also impressed the audience wearing a lace dress by Zuhair Murad.
The trend of crop tops was also present on the red carpet: Sarah Hyland from “Modern Family” came in a crop-top and a high waist puffy skirt by Christian Siriano.
Another trend adored by celebrities, slits, was very beautifully presented by a black and white dress by Donna Karan Atelier worn by Lizzy Caplan, the star from the TV series “Masters of Sex”. Gwen Stefani came at the ceremony in a gold set with an unusual low-necked top by Atelier Versace.
On the red carpet shined also the girls from “Mad Man”, Jessica Pare in a black dress by Lanvin and January Jones in her adored form of dress by Prabal Gurung.
Kerry Washington from “Scandal” chose a very simple and at the same time interesting orange pencil-dress by Prada. More color added to the event Kate Walsh wearing an yellow dress with asymmetric basque by Stephane Rolland.
Actresses with dramatic roles have relied on intricate but unobtrusive trimmings. Anna Gunn from “Breaking Bad” came in her habitual form of one shoulder dress by Jenny Packham, while Claire Danes from “Homeland” appeared in a bright coral dress by Givenchy. Kate Mara from “House of Cards” opted for a complex snow-white dress by J. Mendel.
One of the most complex dresses showed Michelle Dockery: four solid colors are superimposed on each other in a complex cut dress by Rosie Assoulin.
