Belts

Many are concerned with the question: what would be the actual belts thickness in the new warm season? The answer is quite prosaic – any thickness. However, brands have paid a special attention to thick belts (Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Balmain, Haider Ackermann), thin straps can be found in the collections of Lanvin, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta.

The colors of fashion belts in Spring-Summer 2017 proved also to be quite varied. A little while ago we talked about light handkerchiefs and scarves for summer. Such accessories are also very suitable in warm days of spring and cool summer evenings. For cooler weather, for example, the early months of spring, fashionistas must find something warm. In order to not beat their head too much about this, designers have taken care of everything. In their opinion, the spring-summer 2017 season is the perfect time to appear in public wearing a fur boa or a fur cape. On this occasion, it has been proposed both natural shades of fur as well as bright artificial fur. Besides boas and capes, designers have proposed other fur articles, such as thin handkerchiefs that is fixed on women’s belt. All the love for fur was demonstrated by Derek Lam, Topshop Unique, Loewe, Miu Miu, Dennis Basso, Sonia Rykiel, Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel.

Gloves are another important accessory for women. Designers believe that every woman should have in their arsenal at least a few pairs of gloves. Their goal is not limited to keep their hands warm in cold weather. From now on, gloves are am elegant and very original female accessory. Long gloves, proved to be ladies’ favorite and can be seen on the example of modern collections. Betsey Johnson, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, for example, have launched a series of gloves made of knit, fur, velvet and other soft fabrics. Chanel and Maison Margiela included in their line gorgeous silver gloves.

The experiments could not miss here as well. For example, Gucci and Chanel, have recommended to fix the gloves on the wrist. In their own collections, you can find transparent models and “bicycle” options, i.e. designs of gloves that lay bare the female fingers. Head accessories are required not only in the cold season, but in the warm season as well. And if in winter the most popular are the fur hats, then during summer, ladies can afford to wear a light beret, a wide-brimmed hat or a summer scarf. For example, Gucci encourages acquirement of knitted berets for spring-summer season, which can be decorated with funny pompons or fashionable prints.

Ralph Lauren again offered accessories in shades of white and blue, including hats and panamas.

Tommy Hilfiger also completed his collection of accessories with playful striped knitted colorful panamas.

As during previous warm seasons, the spring-summer 2017 season is full of broad brimmed hats and bowler hats. In almost every collection, you can find such a hosiery item, after which at least one parameter does not match the traditional style. Betsey Johnson decorated the heads of her models with the bowler type hats printed in golden hue.

Giles, Giorgio Armani offered wide-brimmed hats with feathers and flexible material, with which the hat can immediately take that shape, which fashionista wants to see. Maison Margiela determined that hats must be made of transparent synthetic materials.
