Paris Fashion Week: Christian Dior, Fall-Winter 2015-2015

The fashion house of Christian Dior presented his new haute couture collection.

The new couturier collection by Raf Simons for Christian Dior is divided, as a rule, into several sections, surely missed by many devoted fans of the French house. Incredible dresses reminded of flower buttons and the hall where the show was held was adorned with white fresh orchids. Many dresses were also strewed with flowers – delicate bouquets of wide flowers.

In the second section we saw something we did not expected to see: uniforms of cosmonauts and astronauts, sewed with flowers, king’s coats and trousers, flappy coats. It seems that Simons wanted to shake us and remind that on the world scene the situation is really tensioned and we don’t have to lose ourselves in pink dreams.

It’s notable that the Belgian designer states that the haute couture clothes aren’t designed only for special events, especially when we spent a lot of money on them. Raf is in favor of universality and practicality of couture models, and we totally support him.
