Adele released the first music video in three years, directed by a Cannes laureate

Recently, the 27-year-old Adele rarely pleased her fans with new songs. The singer made a small pause in her  career to devote herself to raising her little son. Now she has returned to active work and presented the first video in three years, and in late November, she will present the album.

The video for the song Hello was directed by the 26-year-old Canadian director Xavier Dolan. Despite his young age, he has already won the Cannes Film Festival and was awarded the prestigious “Cesar”prize. The man is known for the films “I Killed My Mother” and “Mommy.”

Adele’s music video was directed in retro colors. In the story, the girl comes to an old house, associated with a lot of memories. There she lived with her former lover, and the heroine is still suffering because of the breakup.

The singer presented the new music video on Instagram, where she has made an account only some time ago.

Adele confessed she enjoyed a lot working with Xavier.

“It was incredible working with Xavier. I learned a lot and it made me want to be an actress. He had me crying and acting… and I’m really, really proud of it. It’s not like a groundbreaking video in terms of effects and dance moves, but it’s my best video and I’m so proud of it” – said the singer to the radio post.

The new album of the singer, which was called “25”, will be released on November 20. And in 2016 Adele will give a concert tour. In the meantime, enjoy the music video for the song Hello.
